Small electric locomotive, 13.5 cm long. The toy has an opening roof and doors, a brake that works on all wheels, and a foldable pantograph. The model is closely based on the small German E69 series locomotives. The locomotive can be built in two versions – with a high or low front end.
The E69 locomotives were used on mountain lines to haul light passenger and tourist trains. They appeared at the time when the first railway lines in Germany were being electrified. Their distinctive shape comes from the centrally located cab, which allowed easy changes of direction and provided good visibility in both directions.

The locomotive can be built in one of two variants. The list of parts for each variant is in the parts-list folder. Parts specific to each variant have the postfix type1 or type2 in their name.
The axles of locomotives and wagons are plastic, so after long-term use, the vehicles may experience greater resistance and may creak while driving. To extend the time of trouble-free operation, we recommend lightly lubricating the axle with Teflon grease.
