Small model of a tank steam locomotive, which is a steam locomotive with a built-in coal and water tank. The toy is approximately 13.5 cm long, equipped with an opening roof and doors, and has a brake that works on all wheels. The locomotive features a simplified drive mechanism, which in reality is much more complex and impossible to reproduce in a toy.
The most important feature of tank locomotives was that they could run at maximum speed in both directions. For this reason, they were often used on mountain and local lines, where frequent changes of direction were required. With the introduction of electric and diesel locomotives, these steam engines were gradually withdrawn from regular lines and assigned to shunting duties and secondary lines.

The axles of locomotives and wagons are plastic, so after long-term use, the vehicles may experience greater resistance and may creak while driving. To extend the time of trouble-free operation, we recommend lightly lubricating the axle with Teflon grease.
